I have this program screen called memobook appearing in my internet explorer SEARCH Box and I can't remove it. It seems that at some stage I may have downloaded and inadvertenly installed the program on my computer. I have looked everywhere for inititializing files for this program but I cant find them. I have also looked for an uninstall program to no avail.

This program is extremely annoying and I would very much like to remove it. Any assistance I can get would be very much appreciated

Hi,

Have you tried re-installing IE? Go to Add/Remove Programs, highlight Internet Explorer, click Add/Remove, then choose "Restore the previous Windows configuration". Then re-install IE from a disk (provided you have a disk). I couldn't find any info on removing memobook off the net, sorry.:(

Hi there... I just went to memobook.com
it immediately went to my search... but it didn't stay.... so you must have signed up for it since its still there. on yours.........
therefore it must be an executable program.

Try this ... To see button 'Memo' - make right click on toolbar
and select 'Customize'.

If you find it there remove it.

also try going to start/Find/files ... type in memo

search for it on your system... see if there is an uninstall.

If you find a program file for it & there is no uninstall go to add/remove programs before you delete, making sure its UNinstalled from the registry before you delete it.

last but not least.... run Ad-Aware ... make sure theres no spyware....

Hope this helps
