I have HP Pavilion 32mgRom I use extra msn operating windows ME.
Every time I switch on the following message appears:

    ERROR OCCURRED

Memory access violation in Module Kernel 32 at 8786:91668522

I can get rid of the message and use the P.C in the normal way but the message comes up every time I switch
on.It has been doing this for about a month now.Can any one tell me what this means and how can I cure this problem.

Please note,I am a new Geriatric user. Please keep it simple if possible. Thanks

Hi nzkeegan, Welcome to TSG !!
Have you opened an email recently from Microsoft suggesting a patch??
Go here and get Stinger. Run it and see if it fixes your problem.

Hi TW56.Yes I did download four emails allegedly from Microsoft
(Trap for old/young players) I did as you told me and Stinger found four viruses. It deleted three but said it could not repair the fourth.I,m still not sure what to do about this but I am working on it
Thanks for taking the time to help me out.

    Kind regards
