' The instruction at 0x11262476 referenced memory at 0x039b7b00. The memory could not be 'read'

We then have to log out of the application

This message appears on laptops also but with different numbers. Please help as this is happening several times a day

Welcome to TSG laurajo. This sounds like a "Dr.Watson" message. If that is the case, could you disable the good Dr. temporarily and post the normal Windows error message you get?

Also, since you say the error is occuring on several machines, all laptops, what else do they have in common? Are they running the same application? What is it? Are there any machines which run the application without error?

If it's application specific, we should put you in the "All Other Software" forum.
