memory booster

    hi there!
    does anybody know a nice memo booster programm?
    mem turbo does not work.(tells me can not run 16 bit programm)

    Those programs are junk and most cause more trouble than they are worth. Want more memory? Buy some. Memory is cheap these days. :D (128mg SDRAM PC133 around $26)

    Most were designed for the old Win3.1 and Win95x systems when RAM was expensive and even then they were gimmicks and XP doesn't like 16 bit software.

    right on...stay away from memory/modem boosters,they do more harm than good.
    this little tweak will help free up memory.
    create this in notepad:
    Mystring = Space(16000000)
    and save to your desktop with the name
    memory.vbs
    just a double click and your memory is free.
