I have a mobo which uses PC100 Dimms. Currently I have 64meg installed. Ive been offered a new 128meg PC133 chip (new). Can I install an additional PC133 Dimm or will this cause problems?

They should work together with no problems. Most PC133 DIMMs automatically shift down to run with 100 MHZ systems.

Thanks Randy, its just that a friend said he had done the same and then later he had programmes crashing which a computer "expert" said was probably due to the fact that you cant put pc133 memory in a pc100 machine.

Well, gee . . . I'm no expert, but . . . he could be right, I suppose! Did removing the memory fix your friends problem?

Anyway, there's plenty of evidence that PC133 will run on systems with 100 MHZ FSB.
