So, I recently moved a tower into my dorm that will be used as a secondary machine. I had it working at my house just fine, but now it won't boot. At first, I was not getting any beep errors, the lights simply came on with no display output. I have gotten it to a point where I am getting a beep code that is 1 short and 1 long. This is an HP computer, and I have determined using their website that that's a memory error. Is it more likely that the DIMMs themselves or their slots on the mobo are damaged? I'd like to spend as little money as possible fixing this issue.

I have tried reseating the RAM in every configuration possible

Test with the following peogram

How many modules of ram do you have. I would start with one module of each and test to see if you can narrow it down from there as first step.
