I have the latest video driver and normal games work(store bought)I tried in netscape browser as well and i do not get that error but the browser just shuts down.

Is it by accident that you've posted this question three times., or is it because of these memory problems you're saying you have?

    :D

Sorry about that, I just couldn't resist. ;)

You can actually delete those double posts yourself: go to the post, press edit, check the 'delete' box, and then press "delete now".

As for your problem, does it occur only while playing that particular game?

And what's the name of that game?

Unfortunately these kind of errors are usually pretty hard to troubleshoot, especially as you're saying both Internet Explorer and Netscape are having trouble there.

    Would you please do this:

Go to http://www.spywareinfo.com/downloads.php#startup , and download 'Startuplist'.

Unzip, doubleclick it, and it will generate a text file that will list all running processes, all applications that are loaded automatically when you start Windows, and more.

Go to Edit > select all, copy it and post the contents here.

    Thanks Tony,
This is actually a friends computer and when i got there it was pretty messed up with spy ware and such,i removed everything i recognized as spyware then ran adawaren to remove the rest.
I then ran nortons clean sweep tp clear internet cookies etc.
It only happens at internet sites with games like pogo.com and goingplatinum.com,normal cd games work fine.thats why i thought it was a browser problem but netscape just shuts down and IE6 gives me that error then shuts down.I will go to that site you listed and run that program to see whats running but im leaning toward a reformatt as the computer was a real mess and im not sure what they have done or deleted.
    Thanks
