Hello all. Im sure I will sound like a moron after asking this. But, I am wanting to install more memory in my computer to speed it up a little. I dont know the first thing about it. Ive heard theres nothing to it, just snap off the back cover and plug cards in. But, how do I determine what to get? If anyone has any pointers, I would appreciate it. Thanks.

    Welcome to TSG!
Rather than to go into a long winded explaintion and reinvent the wheel, here is a site that gives a pretty good explaination of the how to's and don't do's.
    http://www.pcguide.com/proc/physinst/ram-c.html

Memory module description and what to buy.
I use www.crucial.com to help me identify what is need. They have a very user friendly find and identify feature. They also manufacture very good quality modules at very good prices.

Where are the module located? The best way to find them is have a new module in hand and locate the other ones on the Motherboard.
