memory problem

    my computer is regognizing my 128 mb sticks as 64mb sticks my bios says to enable a configuration if u use sticks greater tahn 64 so i did and they still register as 64 any idea whats up?

    some older boards will only take 128m in the first slot then 64 m in the remaining slots. if you're using 2x128m sticks take won out and leave one in the first slot and try that.

    i originally had one 64 mb stick then added two 128s and it seems as it reads as all 64mb instead of 310 like it should do u think that since my 64 is a pc 100 and my 128s r pc 133 that the one 64 is messing withthe whole thing? even if i jus use one 64 and one 128 it only reads as 128 something is fishy any more ideas?

    that will do it as i said put the 128 in the first slot if it already is in the first slot swap it to the second

    i'm running pc 100 &133 at the moment and there working fine now, after a bit of swaping around
