Have a Toshiba Equim notebook which had DDR2 PC4200 256mb RAM installed. I purchased another 512md PC4200 as an upgrade.
When installed in slot 2 with the 256 - system says there is only 512 installed. Have swapped around, tried both separately but will not recognise both strips together.! All literature says they don't have to be matched pairs. Any ideas?
