messenger, start up ?

    Hey how do i get yahoo messenger to not put an icon in my system tray when I start up windows ? It has a little invisible smiley face in the tray ! Its not signed in or running but it aggravates me ! How do I get rid of it ?

    click on start, then run, and type msconfig and then press enter. When the window opens, click on the startup tab and look down the list to see if you can see it....uncheck the box and click OK.

    When you restart thr PC it will come up with a message Selective startup click the box Don't show again and click OK.

    In Yahoo Messenger go to Messenger > Preferences, under 'When I start up my computer' uncheck 'Automatically start Yahoo Messenger'.
