Trying to do that could cause a very bad and annoying echo problem for everyone else involved. Since you are also listening to what everyone else is saying, your system would send it back to everyone, delayed by your network latency.

i never said they had their mics on.
its just my itunes audio and no other sound.

I don't think you can choose the sound controller's speaker / line out as an input source in the Custom Audio Options setting in Live Messenger. Not sure if there is any third party software add-on that will let you do it.
