Hey, I just got a microphone or Counter-Strike and whenever I try to use it in a game it sounds all garbled or fuzzy, I can still make out what I am saying, but it is really hard.

The mic sounds fine when I tested it inside Microsoft's Sound Recorder.

The microphone is a Plantronics Audio 90 Gaming PC Headset.

Thanks for any and all help provided.

BTW, I had this problem a few months ago and I was able to fix it by messing around in Control Panel -> Sounds and Audio Devices, but cannot remember what specifically I changed to correct the problem.

I don't have the 20DB boost option, I do have Microphone Boost and Enable Digital Output.
