I was using my microphone normally the other day, and it was fine. Then when I was going to turn the computer off, I accidentally pulled out the USB cable. Today, it has sped up my speech by 100%, so I tried using the regular microphone port in my computer with some headphones, but the problem persisted. I checked the "Add New Hardware" section in my Control Panel and it said that it was corrupted (usb) System restore also failed.

Please ignore my system specs as they are from an older computer.

Microphone Specs- Logitech Eyetoy with modified files to make it into a wecam/microphone:D

Please, is there any way to help this?

What did it say was corrupted, exactly?

100% speed on your speech, interesting problem. You could go online disguised as a chipmunk!

Wow, I guess I better keep my day job--comedy isn't my thing...:)
