Hi, have this trouble with the microphone.
When i record on my computer it sounds good, ive tried to record, and play after and it sounds completely fine, but when i try to speak on vent or ingame at different games all they get is a loud buzzing noise. Kinda like if you stick a piece of paper into a fan.
googled around but cant seem to find any good solutions.
Ive tried tinkering with the settings like amplification etc on both my computer and the different programs to send voice chat, but nothing seems to work.
Read a post here that old powersupply could be the reason, but i have a decent age laptop, and if i can hear myself fine on my recordings it can not be that, nor can it be the microphone.
I am now using windows 7 but i had the same thing with my windows vista.
tried different mics etc same ****.....

Appretiate any help on the matter
sry about bad spelling and english =)

    Howdy,

Have you checked in Vent on setup under test with pick GSM 6.10 then click on test and use a key to push and talk and see if it works that way

Are your friends using the same GSM 6.10 codec?

Are you going through a Router?

    Are you running Ventrilo Server?

If you PM me your IP address and you are running a Vent server I will join and see if I can hear you.

It will not come up unless you start your Vent server and it should pick the 6.10 codec by default..........do you have a Ventrilo Server?

Download the Server and install it and run it then open your Ventilo client and click on setup and it should have selected the 6.10 codec

Go here and download Windows i386 - 32bit (Version 3.0.3)
