I have a headset mic, and the microphone portion won't transmit. I have tested it on another laptop and it works perfectly. All the usual stuff I have taken care of - the microphone isn't muted, I have the correct audio preferences set up (stereo headphones in sound settings) and I know what the program is I'm not just sure how to fix it.
When I select my soundcard in audio settings, I choose Soundmax HD Audio 0 and the sound works perfectly fine and everything. However, when I choose the type of Microphone it only lets me choose Soundmax HD Audio 1 or USB Audio Device (my webcam mic). There is no option to choose Soundmax HD Audio 0 for some reason I don't know why - and that's the problem. If I could choose Soundmax HD Audio 0 like I was able to before the reformat then I think it would transmit fine. Any ideas on how to fix that? Thx
