microsft bluetooth intellimouse

    I Tried to set up my microsft bluetooth intellimouse and It works on and off.
    I get a system event notice :Event Source: BTHUSB
    Windows cannot store Bluetooth link keys on the local transceiver because it cannot determine whether proper security is enabled for the device.

    and this one: Event Source: HidBth
    Bluetooth HID device (00:50:f2:7f:f3:82) either went out of range or became unresponsive.

    when I go to Help and Support Center at go.microsoft dot com they say they have no information on this

    Thanx for any help

    xp pro sp2 all updates, zone alarm pro,asus m/b p4c800 deluxe, p4 3.0, no other bluetooth devices

    Some bluetooth problems seem to be post SP2. This is a general bluetooth troubleshooter from Microsoft
