    Hi,
My Screen Clippings used to show full picture of what was on the screen selection. Now it just shows a Linkto the content. How do I fix this.
    Using Office 2007 on Vista:)

Can you post a screenshot of what you did get and what you now get?

What all did you "Copy" to the clipboard, before pasting in the above?

    Hi,
The Full Screen View, I pressed Logo + S to Trigger Marguee Box and SElected Area of Screen Below Toolbars. Normally I would have that View Straight into a ONENOTE FIle.
Do you Know what is going wrong?

Well, You must be familiar with ONENOTE FEATURES.
What happens when you Press the MIcrosoft Logo Button + S on your Browser. I get a Greyed out Screen and then select an area of the screen using what iscommonly called a "Marquee Box" or outline. When this area is selected pressing "Enter" sends the selected contents of the screen to my ONENOTE. If you Do Not Get it How can you assist me with my problem.. Are You "The Tech Guy"?

I use OneNote and have since it came out. I do NOT recall ever doing what you are explaining. I am currently using OneNote 2007. I have a book on OneNote 2003 which is of some help.

OK, I just figured out what you are doing.

You are using what is known as the "Windows Key" + s and then clipping the area needed. Yes, Mine works but the image gets dumped into a "Unfiled Notes" file, and the complete image is being shown.

Now, Right click the OneNote icon in the system tray.
Select Options, then Screen clipping Defaults, and the select the method you want to use.
It appears that you have the NO image selected?

    Hi,
Now I switch Option on Screen Clippings to COPY To CLipboard ONLY.
Clips will not PASTE into One Note.
Paste Will Not Work Correctly in This Situation.

Are you have issues with a image not displaying in any other program?

You might also go to Help, and then Office Diagnostics and run it. This will do a "Repair" if needed.

When using the Clipboard only, the one MUST paste the image into the one file that one wishes it to be in.

I do not know where to go from here. As stated above, I do not use the screen clipping as I want the DATA not a image of the data. If I want a image and there is a image I will save the image as a local file and use it in that manner. The data can be edited and treated as any other text and that is what I want.
