Mozilla tests Microsoft Bing as the default Firefox search engine

As first reported by Ghacks, a new SUMO search experiment launched on September 6th, 2021, will configure Bing as the default search engine for 1% of all Firefox Desktop users.

"From September 6th, 2021 1% of the Desktop user base will be experimenting with Bing as the default search engine. The study will last into early 2022, likely wrapping up by the end of January," reads the SUMO study description.
As much as I dislike the way the Google search engine evolved, I don't see Bing as an improvement......unless something changed I'm not aware of.

To delete Bing as your Preferred Search Engine:
Open your browser, locate the preferred search web site, copy its URL
Go to Settings, Home Page, paste the URL you just copied
Go to Search Engines, scroll down and delete Bing (and any others not wanted)
Close browser and reopen
