Just curious as to how edge is compared to chrome?
Is it worth it for windows 7? Or should i stick with chrome and mozilla?

I run it with no problem on 7
Give it a try, it can be uninstalled and will automatically import your favourites etc from IE
I do not know about Firefox and Chrome - I do not use either.

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/edge

make sure you get it from the link above as that is the stable fully tested version rather than some earlier release of a preview build
It is reported to be faster than Chrome and is certainly a great improvement on the IE11 on 7, both from speed and of course security - such as there can be on 7 now it has gone EOL

The new Edge is now Chromium based. IMO and from a professional standpoint, I have had issues with Edge just with mundane tasks. I would say stick with what you like. If you have a Google account, stick with Chrome

I have no love for Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome.
I'll stick with Internet Explorer 11.0.175 (post-EOL current version) and Mozilla Firefox 73.0 in Windows 7. (y)

Thank you for all the feedback.
I have been using the latest version of FF with chrome as my backup browser.
I uninstalled internet explorer years ago as i had no use for it.
Based on multiple opinion's stated here,i think i will give Edge a try.
    If i don't like it,i can always uninstall it.I don't mind experimenting.

Thanks again for all your feed back.Is much appreciated.
