Microsoft has begun force installing the PC Health Check application on Windows 10 devices using a new KB5005463 update.
PC Health Check is a new diagnostics tool created by Microsoft and released in conjunction with Windows 11 that provides various troubleshooting and maintenance features.
Thanks for the heads up, Mike. I'll be checking WSUS this morning and making sure this bugger doesn't get installed on our domain workstations. That's all we need: a bunch of MS fanboi's bugging us about getting Win 11 installed on their machines.
Even if I run the wushowhide.diagcab tool (KB3073930) before checking for Windows 10 updates, that pesky KB5005463 update still installs.
Fortunately, I'm able to uninstall it afterwards.
It hasn't re-appeared and tried to re-install itself yet.
