Ok, I have the Microsoft Intelli Optical USB Mouse
and for some reason every once and a while it would freeze on my computer. Everthing else works fine except for my mouse! Its the only thing that freezes all of a sudden while everyting works. So I have to go through this real annoying process of going to the back of computer and unpluggin it and replugging it to make it work again~! This is so annoying can someone help me please~

    Hi swat81,
Did it come with a PS/2 adapter? If it did shutdown PC, Put on the adapter. Plg it in the pS/2 port. Boot up and see if that helped

Sounds like a problem with your USB port since you are also having trouble with your USB printer.

I thought my USB port had problems but I don't think that's the reason since my other USB products work fine. My past printer which was a Parellel port printer did not work either, but my parellel port scanner works fine. So its kind of a but I believe.

It did come with it but I don't know where it is anymore, it used to work fine on my other computer with the adaptor. Is this a bad thing that the mouse does not work good with USB? Or is it the mouse's fault?

    Hi swat81,
I agree with Rockn! If you are also having problems with your USB printer it could be your usb port. Try hooking your printer to the paralell port. See if your mouse and printer both work. Shutdown first. Connect them then restart

Hmm... so guys think its my USB port?
No~ ~_~ I'm sad now~ I just bought this computer recently and it already has a broken USB port...
Is there a way to fix it since I really wanted use my USB ports, I think I would have to replace the motherboard to change it right?
