Hello there, I tried to install some software that requires Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5, and it says it's installing the program, but it's just not working and it gives me that error.
I tried everything on the internet, and it's still not working - A list of what I tried:
    • Trying to do everything in this video:

    • This one looked like a virus so I didn't do it :

What "software" did you try to install?
What Windows version is in your computer?

Wanted to open Bitcoin mining software, didn't work, so I gave up - after around a month I wanted to open flight simulator Prepar3d V4, and it told me I have to install some features, and without those features the program wouldn't work properly, I tried to install those features and it gave me error

Microsoft .NET Framework 4.7 is installed by default in Windows 10, but Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 is not.
Load the "Programs And Features" window.
Click "Turn Windows features on or off", then wait for the small window to load.
Put a checkmark in .NET Framework 3.5, then click "OK".
Hopefully, it'll install and resolve your issue.

What you said in post #4 wasn't clear, so I didn't know you had already done that.

I know nothing about Bitcoin or Flight Simulator software, so I'll leave you with someone else.
    Good luck.

Had similar issue installing Paintdotnet, it needs Microsoft.NET Framework to run. Got to a point where it just started uninstalling MS.NET (ms.net uninstalled itself) Finally, I just installed .NET on its own & then paint.net installed just fine.
