About a month ago I stopped being able to send email messages but I could still receive it. I have not done anything for this to happen and I do not know what to do to fix it. Emails I sent will just sit n my outbox. Now, in addition when I click on the Microsoft Outlook icon , I get the following error message which may have something to do with the problem I am incuring:

The Add-in “AVG Exchange Extension” (C:\PROGRA~1\Grisoft\AVG7\avgxch32.dl) cannot be loaded and has been disabled by Outlook. Please contact the Add-in manufacturer for an update. If no update is available, please uninstall the Add-in.

Please help me and tell what I need to do to get my email working which I depend heavily on for school.

Thanks.

As a quick fix, I would uninstall your Anti-Virus software, then clean out your messages in your outbox. Try sending some test messages and see what happens.

Let me know if this works.

Have you contacted AVG about this? We use it on about 50 machines with no issues ever....

1- Your outgoing mails are scanned by AVG
2- After everything is clear it sends the email & moves it to the Sent folder
3- The link from your outlook to your AVG scanning executables are corrupt
4- AVG is not able to send acknowledgments to outlook
5- Due to that, your emails are not going out.

Uninstall the AVG software and unlink your outgoing scanning on AVG, send an email t oyour own id and enjoy..

Skinny,

I just looked in Control Panel, Add/Remove programs and I do not see a file with the name AVG. Could it be somewhere else on my machine?

thanks.
