Microsoft Outlook Taskbar shows an application button for each application open on the desktop. However, just recently the application button only flashes on and off (blue and gray). The right button (menu button) does not bring up any menus over the application button. The right button will bring up menus elsewhere. The left button only maximises the application after clicking over the button three or mor times. Sometimes it won't do anything but cause the button to continue to flash. After a few seconds the button stops flashing and just turns a solid blue.

    Operating System: Windows XP
Microsoft Outlook is from Microsoft Office 2000
I have a logitech mouse man wheel with an infered sensor.
The computer is a Dell Inspiron 8000 lap top with a built in touch pad.

    Thanks for your help.
