microsoft problems....

    anyone know what it means when it tells me i have to log in as administrator???) :confused:

    It means just what it says.....the user you are currently logged in as does not have the authority to do the action requested.

    That action is reserved for the administrator.

    To log in as administrator on xp, either press control-alt-del on the welcome screen and type in the name/password of your administrator account or boot into safe mode and select administrator.

    On 2k just login with the administrator username and password.
