I am using a Toshiba Satellite A665- S6070. I am able to connect to the internet with WiFi I just cant use my laptop for a hot spot. I was able to before then all of a sudden I just couldn't. When I go to the device manager there is a yellow triangle at the Microsoft virtual WiFi miniport adapter when I click on it the reason is a code 10 failed to start. I ran Mr. Fix it and I found out there is a driver problem. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and it is the same thing. I have gone to the Toshiba website and the Microsoft website and can't find a driver for it. I think it is part of Windows 7 but the computer came preloaded so I don't have a disk. Also in the device mgr. under hidden devices non plug and play there is a yellow triangle at hlnfd the status is This device is not present, is not working properly, or does not have all its drivers installed. (Code 24) the status is stopped and the start up type is system

    Please please help me.........

According to its detailed specifications list, the Toshiba Satellite A665-S6070 laptop comes with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.

It also comes with an Intel Core i7-720QM 1.60 GHz processor, 4 GB of DDR3 RAM, 640 GB hard drive, and NVIDIA GeForce 310M graphics.

How did Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit get installed in it?

In order to confirm if you're using a legal copy of Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit in that laptop, I've requested a qualified person to examine your MGADiag log.

What was the operating system that was originally installed on the computer when you first bought it?

I need new glasses. I totally missed that it's a Dell OEM version installed on a Toshiba so it's not genuine.

Since we don't assist with pirated software, I'm closing this thread.

In regards to your report, while you may have a Windows 7 license on the bottom of your laptop, most likely a Windows 7 Home license, someone has installed an illegal/pirated copy of Windows 7 Ultimate that belongs to a Dell computer. If you bought it second hand you need to contact the seller or report him for software piracy.

Your other option is to order the legitimate Windows 7 recovery discs from Toshiba and reload your computer, it will also most likely fix your other issues as well.

Recovery media can be ordered from this Toshiba site: https://support.toshiba.com/repair
