    Recently I have gotten lag, popups, etc, but despite slowing those down to a minor annoyance, a particular lag inducing warning I get, is one for explorer.exe, the window that pops up is described below:

    -----
    Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

    Buffer Overrun detected!

    Program: C:\WINDOWS\explorer.exe

    A buffer overrun has been detected which has overrun the program's internal state. The program cannot safely continue execution and must now be terminated.
    -------

    Upon seeing a similiar issue on these boards earlier, I am prepared to run ComboFix, or the HJTsetup.exe but I wanted to wait until I heard from someone what I am supposed to do first. I know I am supposed to run a program and post a log, but I want to make sure I run the right program.

    Anyways, please help, and thanks to all who happen by to help. *bows*
