    Hi;

    Our school music and band teacher uses Sibelius music software and another music program that requires midi playback and editing. The software is installed but when the program is opened an error message appears saying
    Error, Midi Driver can not open...or cannot be found.

    The midi device is a 3com EuSynch...but no driver can be found. How do I solve this or when can i find an appropriate driver? Any help out there?

    Thanks for your time.

    What OS are you using? Is this on a Compaq computer. All the info that I can find points to problems with Win 95 on Compaq.

    Actually, it appears to be a problem with your sound card. Can you uninstall and re-install the drivers for your sound card, or at least update them?

    Hi...thanks for the quick response!! :)

    The OS is win 98....I have not tried to uninstall and reinstall the drivers for the sound card. Hopefully I'll be able to do that...but was hoping it may have been just a small technical thing like checking off a certain box...hehe.
