I have an old windows 98 computer and am trying to connect a MIDI keyboard to it. The trouble is, the keyboard just isn't being recognized and used by my sequencer program, Jazz++ (www.jazzware.com). The soundcard is an on-motherboard ESS Solo-1, and I am using an intelligent game port to midi in/out cable. I have installed the drivers off the disk that comes with the motherboard, and midi playback through the line out (speaker) port does work. I've tried messing about with a few other drivers, but no luck.

    Processor - Pentium 2
    Hard drive - 3GB
    RAM - 32MB

    Thanks! (y)
