midi problem in IE

    when a web page plays a midi file, internet explorer gets really slow and the midi played is in short sections at a time.

    what could be the casue of this?

    When sound files play in short sections, usually it is because it hasn't all loaded into your computer. Do you have dial-up?

    However, MIDIs are usually small files and that shouldn't occur. That behavior is more likely with WAVs or MP3s. It is possible you have adware/spyware sending info and slowing you down.

    Run Spybot and see if that helps.
    Be sure your TIFs (temporary internet files) are deleted on a regular basis as well. Delete useless cookies too.
