I have been trying to set my midi keyboard up with windows 2000. I first found out there was no mpu-401 driver so i found and installed that, then I had to change the inturrupt request as there was a conflict.
Now it just says 'the device cannot start (code 10).' Any ideas? The device is not even being listed in the setup mme thing.

Im doing this to use on Cubasis

In the hardware section of the sounds and multimedia properties it has...

    Audio COdecs
    standered game port
    c-media ac97 audio device
    mpu-401 compatable midi device
    audio codecs
    legacy audio drivers
    media control devices
    legacy video capture devices
    video codecs
    edirol ua-5 (wdm)

Has the same things in the device manager but I know something definatly wrong because it has an exclamation mark next to the mpu-401 thing.

Be great if anyone knows what to do.

    Thanks alot.

    Mike
