    Hi,
Is there a way to migrate Windows 10 Live Mail to Thunderbird. Most importantly: so that the migration preserves all the user-made folders that the user made in Live Mail along with their contents.
    Thanks,
    Andyd

    Thanks for the reply.
Windows Live Mail gives you two export format options: Windows Live Mail (I assume for backup purposes or moving to another computer) and Microsoft Exchange. Will Thunderbird read these?

The reason I ask is that I am not doing this on my computer (which is a Mac). I am a volunteer worker for an organization called Senior Web, their service called PC Help at Home. The client I have has a Windows 10 machine . Would like to have some assurance it will work before trying it on her machine.
    Thanks,
    Andynic

Usually the export will be like a CSV file for the Contact List and email disk files using the .EML extension. They can be imported in Thunderbird ( aka; T-Bird ).
