My mouse goes everywhere, like someone else is trying to control it, and even takes me to different pages or looses the stuff I am working on. Just bought this computer from a place that refurbished it and resold it. No tower and cordless keyboard and mouse. Please help. [email protected] Thank you soooooooo much

    What does no tower mean?
Switch the mouse to a corded one and see if it improves.

and in addition to that try updating with the drivers but try and go through the mouse properties to see if anything is off or doesn't seem right but I will try plodr suggestion immediately after anything else

Does the mouse cursor still move when you pull the battery out of the mouse?

my mouse scrolls by itself, brings up new pages, kicks me out of pages, just goes crazy all over the place, went to mouse settings but no help. I also notice a floating keyboard in the upper left of my screen on occasion. Tried to disable the touchpad but couldn't figure it out. I cleaned the eye and all that stuff, but all invain. if I cant find my way back here to check on help, my email is [email protected]

    You failed to:
    1. explain what no tower means (I assume from your second post that it means you have a laptop rather than a desktop computer)
    2. Switched to a corded mouse and posted the results
    3. Posted the brand and exact model of your computer so we can help disable the touchpad

A floating keyboard is the onscreen keyboard.
    Programs/Accessories/Ease of Access/ On-screen keyboard
since the mouse doesn't work, use the touchpad to click the X in the upper right corner to turn it off.
