Hello. Back on my old laptop.

Tech Support Guy System Info Utility version 1.0.0.4
OS Version: Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition, Service Pack 3, 32 bit
Processor: Genuine Intel(R) CPU T2300 @ 1.66GHz, x86 Family 6 Model 14 Stepping 8
Processor Count: 2
RAM: 1526 Mb
Graphics Card: Mobile Intel(R) 945GM Express Chipset Family, 224 Mb
Hard Drives: C: 37 GB (15 GB Free);
Motherboard: Dell Inc., 0NF743
Antivirus: None

Despite my specs, Minecraft gets some really playable FPS. But no matter if i roll back what version of Minecraft i use, or change my java version, Java crashes. In the Minecraft launcher, ive tried the Minecraft profiles of th elatest version, 1.10, and 1.8.5. All I simply want to do is play one server.

Thanks for any help in advance

I have saved some of the crash logs, here they are

This one is from about a month ago:

It is a lost cause the requirements MINIMUM for Minecraft have changed
https://help.mojang.com/customer/en/portal/articles/325948-minecraft-system-requirements

your computer does not meet those requirements either by OS or minimum ram
The JAVA crash is more than likely due to the revised requirements of Minecraft

https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC-134087

I regret to be the bearer of bad news, but IMHO on that computer trying to solve that problem is a waste of time, with the new MINIMUM system requirements of Minecraft

That all said you may find this useful
https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC-32606

and if after trying the relevant suggestions it is still no good then on such an issue I suggest you open a case on the site - on the link above
However I feel reasonably certain you will get the same answer as I have given you

If this is the computer you installed Virtual Box on, you might check and see if it's eating up some needed resources.

But I think Macboatmaster has your answer.
Your computer specs aren't even close to the minimum needed.

I know I said it is a waste of time and I honestly believe it is, but I did include, if you read it a post on the problem from the Minecraft site
with some suggestions.
The link below here on my first reply

I just found out how i can play it. I am installing Ubuntu on a flash drive with Rufus. Since my Thinkpad has a dead hard drive, it wont boot from hard drive. But, since it was running Windows 7 , i can boot from usb. Then i can boot from my ubuntu usb on my thinkpad and play minecraft on that. I am planning to also get a new hard drive and install Ubuntu on that. But in the meantime ill use my two 64 GB flash drives.

To alliveiate confusion in which computer, its not the Windows XP one. Its the one that used to overheat, but it will do for now.

Problem solved!
