This is not a serious issue, but it annoys me a little.
Everything artist in Media Player that has a fowardslash (/) turns into a semi colon (; ).
Like I put in my AC/DC albums and it shows "AC/DC" and then suddenly about half an hour later it changes to "AC; DC" as if they were seperate artists. So you'd have to choose between AC or DC as an artist.

Anyone got any idea why this is? And even better is there a way to stop it?
This is Windows Media Player 10.

the / and other characters are reserved by the operating system and can't be used for naming files.
here's some info.
for ac/dc you'll have to use ac-dc or something allowed

there may be a way around it but that's a bit beyond the scope of my knowledge.

have you tried to rename one with the - or_ to see if you can do it that way at least.
