i run windows 98 and 2000 on my computer but use windows 98 more. had to reinstall windows 98 recently because of a lot registry errors and blue-screen crashes but on reinstalling windows i got a message saying that the file 3C1807VW.CAT couldn't be found on the windows 98 cd, so i skipped that file and continued with the installation. win 98 is running fine now but i'm wondering what this file was for and where it can be found just in case its needed at a later date.
