    Have had major problems with missing desktop icons and start menu but finally cleared that virus. However, system now states the following dll's are missing;
    c\windows\system32\yfvllydr.dll and mlgommfq.dll
    Dont have restore disc so any help appreciated.

    The virus didn't get completely cleaned. The bad DLLs are gone, but Windows is still trying to find them. You can click the "Report" button in your post and ask a Moderator to move to over to the Malware Removal forum.
