I have used the free home version of the Zone Alarm firewall for years and have updated as needed. When I tried to update today, the program froze at the 12% mark. I had no choice but to shut down and restart the computer. Upon restarting, I had NO Zone Labs firewall at all. When I try to install I get the following message: " A required .DLL file, SSLEAY32.DLL was not found". After clicking OK, there was something about True Vectorand the Service Manager. They lost me on that one. How do I restore that missing file? Perhaps CWS removed it? I use Win 98 SE. Thanks Dennis

If the dll actually isn't in C:\windows\system\zonelabs then it can be downloaded from here.
If the file is there then possibly it's corrupt and that I can't help you with, other than to suggest removing ZA and reinstalling it.
