short time ago we tried to update windows, the update went badly and then our hp printer which had never given us a moment of trouble couldn't function because of scripting errors. went through all sorts of fixes with hp support, they basically gave up and said that we would have to upgrade to win xp. is there any way to fix this issue ? i've even downloaded windows msi installer with no success . it seems now that these files are missing nothing installs. is there any hope ? and if not ...could we upgrade to xp with these files missing?
