Missing Ntldr

    FILE IS MISSING AND TO PRESS ANY KEY TO RESTART?
    I am installing a new used HD it had a version of lenix on it.
    I am installing xp home edition.
    it went through set up and a repair for xp.
    But what does NTLDR DO?

    Basicly it means it can't find the boot drive.
    You need to make sure CD is set to first boot, then reinstall windows

    thanks, that worked
    wasnt going far enough into setup . needed to select what system before format.
