A few months ago, I created a homepage (desktop?) folder for my Galaxy 4 tab. I used it to store webpages and other stuff for reference purposes prior to a vacation I'm planning. It was at the top of my home page and I must have accidentally long pressed this folder when trying to open it. I think it ended upwards in the "remove" prompt and now i can't retrieve it. Is there a simple fix without having to "root" anything please?

Thank you for your quick response. Do i download and install this suggested software to both my tablet and pc..or to one or the other? And I must confess the word "root" has always scared me because of my ignorance with how to do it.

Thank you for everything SpywareDR. I will give it a go and let you know. I noticed that beside the guide instructions there was mention of a Windows version of this software EaseUS. Does this mean downloading and installing this version to my pc, as well as the Android version to my tablet? And does the USB Debugging mode apply to both devices as well?

Yes, install the appropriate version on each device. Enabling USB debugging mode only applies to Android. Disable it when done.
