Go to IE > Tools > Internet Options > Settings

Where does it say that the files are located?

Its there. you just cant see it.

I tried this myself, and I see where your coming from.

If you really want to see it, open folder properties, and uncheck "Hide Protected Operating System Files".

But you don't need to do this, you'll probably want to keep those files hidden - just enter the path "C:\Documents and Settings\steve\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files" in windows explorer and press ENTER. Or copy/paste it to Start>Run..., paste it and ENTER, and it'll open a new window. You are still able to view the content, just not the folder.:)
