The set came with a Gateway I purchased in Dec. of 1999. Recently I noticed I am missing disk 1. I sent an email to Gateway seeing if I could get a replacement cd, but have not heard back from them yet. Would Microsoft be able to send a replacement if Gateway doesent have any to send? I have the certificate of authenticity and the cd key.
    Any advice would be helpful.
    Thanks

Getting replacement media from Microsoft for a program that is 6 years old would be a challenge I suspect.

Also if it was bundled with the Gateway as you say, it's "Original Equipment Manufacture" (OEM) provided which means all support comes from the seller (Gateway). I would hold out about the same (little) hope for such an old replacement disk from them though.

Thats what I figured, Gateway says they cant send it out because it is OEM, even though I told them I got it with the computer and it even shows oem in the product id code.
    Thanks anyway,
