Hope this site works, didn't see a subject to cover my problem otherwise. My OS is XP.
Some years ago, I installed a Bell Internet stick and later deleted the program. I've just noticed that I have 'Mobile Connect' still listed in my add/remove programs box, but there is no option to remove it. I can't find it anywhere else on my computer. Can anyone tell me how to get rid of it, please?

There are a number of ways to do this.
You an get rid of the entry in add/remove programs by editing a registry key, but that is the least satisfactory, as all it does is to remove that entry.
The fragments of the program are still there on the hard drive.
Go start
Search
and search for files and folders containing the words - include hidden files and folders.
Bell Mobile

then when search finds them look where they are open them and delete the entries
To do that you may have to go My Computer
click the tools tab
click folder options
click the view tab
click to shown hidden files and folders
click apply and ok.

Please ensure you check carefully what you are deleting.
ESTABLISH A RESTORE POINT FIRST.

You may well find that this will then after a reboot remove the entry from Add/Remove programs.

Altrnatively download this and use the Revo Uninstaller
Free edition

CAUTION be even more careful on what you are deleting
