I recently had PE_NIMDA.A virus on my computer. I was able to get rid of it. Then I run FirstAid 2000 and it found two potential problems. They read:

HSP56 MicroModem is set to use COM4 but there is no modem on that port.

Device Loader failed to load the device. The DAVICOM 9102/A PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter device is listed under the Network Adapters section of the Device Manager has a problem.

What does all of this mean and how can I fix these problems?

thanks,

The first thing I would do is check to see if the modem and network card are working properly. If they're running properly, I would leave 'em be.

If the devices aren't responding properly, the first fix I'd try is to remove and re-install the drivers.
