my wife needs to be able to know when her company is calling while shes online, and we cant find anything that will work with our V90 server.we even asked at the phone company, who we also have our dial-up through, and they just thought that we needed to buy call-waiting ,and that would work.it didnt.is there any software we can buy that is v90 compatible?DSL is not available in our area yet,so that is not an option.for anyones reference,we have Mountainet, which is in southwest VA.we would appreciate any help as soon as possible. thanks nick

You not only need call waiting from the phone company, you also need a call waiting modem to recognize it. I had one in the past made by Action Tec which would signal an incoming call. See here,
http://www.actiontec.com/support/modems/cwi.html

Not sure where you can find it now. You would have to uninstall your current modem and install the new one.
The answer from Leec65 may also work but I have no experience with it.

Good Luck
