    Hi all,

Now you've all been really helpful in the past so I'm hoping someone will know this one!

My mates computer came to my house for a new install of Windows as it crashed and would not start for love nor money.

When I took it back to her I tried to install her BT internet connection and the computer came up with no modem installed. So I tried the various Packard Bell modems that are within the Win2000 OS but none would work (her pc came from PB). So I opened up her case and the only things written on the modem are these:

    ACSC 93501783

    6765590000

    513014-KS

    12WDOS

    LR64026

On the reverse of the very tiny modem card is this:

    CE168X

I've no idea who makes this modem, as above it's a tiny thing and I've never seen one this small before! Does anyone have any clues as to the make and model? I'd like to install the correct driver for her as she needs the net for her kids homework.

Thanks in advance for anyone knowing the answers to this one!

    Lisa

If you know the model numbe rof the PB PC then go to the Packard Bell site and the various drivers should be available there for this AMR modem
