So the current set up is modem>router>splitter> 2 more routers. It has frozen up on us for the 2nd time. No clue what could be the issue. Just recently upgraded to 400mbps internet, new modem, new routers, new splitter. Any help/ideas would be much appreciated

What do you mean by 'splitter' and 'frozen'? What is the model?

Also by frozen I meant we just completely lose internet even though the modem says it's on and connected

OK well then if all routers loses connection then the troubleshooting starts with the first one that is connected to the modem.

Disconnect the other two and the switch. Only connect a machine to the first router by Ethernet to make sure you have connectivity. Then go wireless. Monitor this connection.

How are these routers set up? Are they pulling DHCP from the first router or they providing their own?

The modem is Ethernet connected to a router directly, that first router is then connected to a splitter, then from that splitter 2 other routers are Ethernet connected to it

what are the exact ports do you have the switch and modem connected to? (i.e WAN port, LAN port 1, 2, etc)
