Modem Test

Is there a way to test whether or not your modem is in good operating condition, while your computer is running?

Well... I'm sure there is software that will but don't know off the top of my head. THIS site might help. I would say, if it connects to the internet... and goes at the speed it is supposed to... then it should hold out for awhile... but who knows... Also... there are programs such as NetMedic that moniter the status on everything that passes through you modem... so that might be good to have. Used it before but haven't put it on this computer yet.
